My long time friend and runnin' mate A.J. Osborne (better known in Hollywood as Donna King) had always told me "you can't pee like a puppy". I wondered about that for years, and always kept it in the back of my mind, until one day at Granny's me and our ornery little girl cat, Bubba Loo were walking out to the burning barrel, skilsaw in my hand, cord following, ready to start cutting a mountain of old shakes in half. (*see photo page: 2004 roof fire) The words came from my mouth "Bubba, we're gonna make a little bit of noise". She says OK. Still walking together "Bubba, we're gonna make a little Rock N Roll". She says prroww? We both stopped dead in our tracks, turned around and ran back into the garage, scrambling for pen and paper, and wrote it. (she knew all about puppies and pee). I miss you Bubba. This is for you.
